The Anne Frank Center

This museum is located in Eisenstadt, Austria. The site offers a short history of the Jewish quarter located in Eisenstadt.

Beit Theresienstadt
A kibbutz, opened in 1975 in Israel, in memory of the Jews of Ghetto Theresienstadt. Along with exhibits, an archive, and an education center, the kibbutz has a computerized database of the fate of nearly 150,000 prisoners of Theresienstadt.

C.A.N.D.L.E.S. Holocaust Museum
C.A.N.D.L.E.S., which stands for Children of Auschwitz Nazi Deadly Lab Experiments Survivors, is located in Terre Haute, Indiana. Eva Mozes Kor, a Mengele Twin, created this organization/museum to bring together other survivors of these experiments and to educate the public.

Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site
Before you go to visit, make sure you have directions, know what day the camp is closed, and know when the English version of the film is playing.

El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center
Located in El Paso, Texas, this museum offers quiet reflection and remembrance of the lives lost in the Holocaust.

Florida Holocaust Museum
Located in St. Petersburg, Florida, this museum (previously named the Tampa Bay Holocaust Memorial Museum) offers thorough exhibits about the Holocaust and includes an Auschwitz boxcar and an opportunity to light a memorial candle.

This museum is located north of Haifa, Israel and focuses on Jewish resistance.

Holocaust Education Center in Japan
Located in Fukuyama, Japan (approximately 45 minutes outside of Hiroshima), this museum is dedicated to the children of the Holocaust. They have photographs, artwork, documents, and other artifacts.

Holocaust Memorial Center (Detroit)
Located in Detroit, Michigan, this museum was established to preserve the memory of the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust.

Holocaust Museum Houston
Located in Houston, Texas, this museum has a permanent exhibit as well as a theater.

Mauthausen Concentration Camp Memorial
This memorial rests on a large portion of the area where the camp actually stood. The memorial includes several original buildings, the quarry, the ash pit, as well as a permanent exhibit about the main and satellite camps at Mauthausen. The memorial also has a library and archive.

Located in Izieu, France, this museum consists of the house and barn in which the 44 Jewish children were sheltered before being sent to Auschwitz.
